Nashville Wedding Photographers - Phindy Studios

Guess what?  It is 2010! How strange is that? Sounds so futuristic. We are very pleased to be able to usher in the new year with some photos from our awesome Tupelo creative couple – Casey & Laura. We posted the wedding photographs a couple weeks ago and we’ve been dying to get these up as well.

Sometimes on the day of the wedding certain factors (such as rain) can limit your options when it comes to wedding photos.  That is why we LOVE day-after sessions. They don’t actually have to be the very next day of course. Some couples schedule these sessions weeks after the wedding day.  Day-after sessions are really great for removing the location and time constraints of a busy wedding day and allows the couple to really get some creative shots in their wedding attire. These sessions are becoming more and more popular with our couples and we are loving it! Wow, what a year!  We have had a wonderful 2009 and have so much to be thankful for.  To our clients, you guys are the best and we have enjoyed working with every single one of you   To our wonderful friends & family, thanks for putting up with us & our craziness!  We wish you all a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!  Just a quick note to let you know that we will be out of the office until January 4th spending some much needed time with our family & friends.  See you in 2010!

We first met Laura and Casey at a mutual photographer friend’s house about a year ago.   We knew we’d love these guys right from the start.  They are both creative AND fellow Mississippians!  These two super talented photographers run Lovely Union out of Tupelo, MS. and Casey is also a great graphic designer.  They have such an amazing sense of humor and are really down to earth, which definitely showed in their wedding.   Needless to say we were extremely pumped about traveling down to Tupelo, MS for their big day. This sneak peek will be a 2-parter. We also did an awesome day after session for them and we can’t wait to get that on the blog.  Hope you enjoy this little sample…we sure enjoyed taking them

Chad & Amanda were married in a festive fall wedding this past October.  AND as if we weren’t already lucky enough to work with these two, we also got to work with the incredible team at A Delightful Day!  The ceremony was held at Scarritt Bennett & it was followed by a beautiful reception at Belle Meade Plantation. So, now it’s time for a some Phindy awards.  Amanda, you win the sweetest, calmest bride award & Chad, you win the “best reaction by a groom when he sees his bride for the first time” award (oh, and thanks for making me tear up too!)   Seriously, you guys are a joy to work with & we wish you marital bliss in Mississippi!  Enjoy a few of our favorites!

Bosh (or Jocca?) had a brunch garden wedding at the beautiful CJ’s Off the Square this past September.  You might remember this amazing couple from their engagement session a few months back.  This wedding was so much fun.  We don’t do many brunch weddings, but we loved it! The weather wouldn’t quite cooperate, but the great thing about CJ’s is that rain or shine, everything is going to look great. The colors were so bright and vibrant, we loved the navy and green/yellow color palette.  The other great thing about a brunch wedding, you ask?  A killer coffee bar put pep in everyone’s step and the food was amazing   Enjoy some of our favorite shots.

Josh and his groomsmen played the classic game of “Let’s see how long we can go without wearing our pants!”.  They made it “pantless” right up until the ceremony!
