Cozumel

We’re really behind on our blogging. We got back from Cozumel over a week ago, but still wanted to share some shots. We had a blast and went scuba diving for the first time “officially”. We are hooked. If you’ve been thinking about picking up this hobby, you definitely should. We can’t wait to do it again.

Our Highlights: Sea turtles, lobsters, eels, baracudas, sharks, sting rays and much more. It was awesome!

Emil & Leslie Engagement Shots

Sunday we headed out to meet Emil & Leslie for their engagement pics. They told us they found a really cool spot for the shoot so we didn’t really know what we were getting into. Man were they right, this place was awesome! It was pretty much a working farm with a plethora of animals including: cows, chickens, crazy African hens called “guineas” I think, a llama named Half-Tank, a ram with a head too big for its body, and an excited peacock. It was great. We had a lot of fun shooting this one. Here are a few shots, the top one is one of our favorites and the bottom one is a silly “American Gothic” homage. Thanks Emil & Leslie!

Tabitha & Kyle

Here are a couple shots from Tabitha & Kyle’s engagement session. This rad couple drove all the way in from Memphis for the session and still somehow managed to make the whole day fun. We wondered around a bit downtown grabbing a few shots, and also went inside Nashville’s newish main public library to get some cool shots of them on tiny children’s furniture. “Big kids on a little couch” Just reminds me of Chris Farley in that movie, Tommy Boy. ANYWAY! Take a look at the pretty couple. Can’t wait to shoot this wedding in M-Town this summer.

Steve & Lori

Last weekend was a first for us…we’ve never had the opportunity to shoot such a personal and intimate wedding. Lori & Steve had a beautiful wedding inside a brand new home near Mt. Juliet, TN. Although it started out cloudy, we ended up getting some great shots outside at the end of their big day. Congratulations to the beautiful couple! Click here to view a slideshow!

  • Janet Smith said: What a great day we had! Thanks, Mindy and Phil, for everything! One of the guests made the comment that they didn't even know you guys were there taking pics, they were totally comfortable getting their pics made. Lori and Steve both loved the "teasers" - can't wait to see the rest. Thanks again, Janet (04.30.07 @ 6:22 pm)

Amanda & Malcolm

Congratulations to Amanda & Malcolm, who were married a week ago today! They are such a beautiful couple. It’s so much fun to shoot a wedding where everyone has a great sense a humor (as you will see in the slideshow!). Phil and I laughed a lot and the day flew by. We want to thank the new Mr. and Mrs. Rios and their families for being so welcoming to us and allowing us to be apart of their special day.
