StudioWed Nashville – Grand Opening Party

Wow…we have had a busy week!  We’ve been waiting for months and are so excited that StudioWed Nashville is officially OPEN!  To kick everything off we had an awesome grand opening party on Monday.  So many people came and it was awesome to see support from so many friends.  It really meant a lot to us to see past clients, like Chandra & Matt, even come to show their support:)

Awesome co-owners extraordinaire,  Leigh & Mary Alice!  If you are a bride coming into StudioWed, these are the lovely ladies that will take great care of you:)

I love the fact that the florists involved in StudioWed provide fresh flowers for the space, like these by Brocade Designs Nashville.

Awesome lighting by Nashville Event Lighting…how cool is it that this gets to stay in the Studio?

Belle Meade Plantation Engagement Session – Doug & Erin

We had a great engagement session with Doug & Erin at beautiful Belle Meade Plantation last month.  We all braved the cold (again….seriously Spring needs to get here already!) but what got us through were the warm thoughts of their wedding in Cabo San Lucas next October!  Enjoy a few of our favorites:)

StudioWed Nashville Grand Opening!

Composite Shot – Casey & Laura

We shot Casey & Laura’s lovely wedding back in the fall.  At their wedding we ran into one of the unfortunate hurdles of shooting…rain.  They had a pretty large bridal party and Phil and I had scouted and planned for some awesome shots that were not able to happen due to the weather.  So, what are we to do?   Well, we waited until the rain stopped & got the entire bridal party out in to the middle of an empty street to shoot a composite shot.  All of this done with just one speedlight;)  Check out the final image below!

Nashville Engagement Session – Ronnie & Nicole

We have been so impressed lately with the couples who have been willing to brave the freezing temperatures this winter!  Ronnie & Nicole were troopers & super fun to work with.  They are both avid runners & chose to go to Edwin Warner Park for their session.  They run here frequently and it was great to have their session in a place that had meaning to them.  Even though it was a little rainy, I love the mood that it gives their images.  Let’s hope though for a beautiful sun-shiney day for their wedding next May at CJ’s Off the Square! Enjoy a few of our favorites:)

Right off the bat we could tell that Ronnie was hysterical & loved to make Nicole laugh…here’s proof.

Nashville Wedding Photography – Ronnie & Nicole | Phindy Studios - [...] Ronnie & Nicole were married a couple of weeks ago in a beautiful ceremony at CJ’s Off the Square.   It was such a beautiful day & thanks to great vendors like CJ’s, Maples Wedding Cakes, and florals by Creations by Debbie, the wedding was amazing!  This was also one of the sweetest weddings we have ever been apart of.
