A long time ago, we met a guy named Brian.  A couple years later, Brian met Marie.  Way before they were even engaged, Phil and I were secretly hoping they’d get married so we could shoot their wedding.   We knew they’d do something super cool and of course they haven’t let us down.   We cannot wait to shoot their East Nashville wedding next month.   We are always looking for new, fun places to shoot and they are having their reception in an art gallery!  Oh, it’ll be sweet!  Anyhoo, back to their engagement session.  Phil and I really love to make our engagement sessions about our client’s personalities.   So before every session we always ask the couple “what do you guys like to do?”.  In Brian & Marie’s case it was “play UNO” & “Swing!”.  So there you have it…our inspiration behind these images.  Enjoy

Ok, so it was a goal of ours to feature wedding vendors more often, but better late than never, right?  We wanted to spotlight one of the coolest wedding venues in town,  CJ’s Off The Square.   It’s located right in the heart of downtown Franklin, off the square…hence the name.  Not only is it a fantastic venue, but it is operated by some of the raddest girls I’ve met in a long time, CJ & Amy (who are also of the Williamson County Weddings & Events fame)  I mean who else can you sit and talk about your love for Patty Griffin and T.I.   Anyways, if you are still in the middle of your search for the perfect venue for your wedding, Phil and I highly suggest checking this place out.  Right now they are running some crazy deals for spring/summer dates.  Below is the 411 and their contact info.

Sorry for the quiet blog over the last week.  We have a good excuse!  We were in Phoenix for the DWF Convention.  It was such an awesome week and we were so lucky to have so many great friends to share the trip with.  We learned so much and are even more pumped up than we ever thought possible about 2009.  We didn’t get to shoot a ton while we were out there, but it was Phoenix, 75 degrees and insanely beautiful, so we managed to sneak away a couple of times.  Here are some fun images we took throughout the week.  Enjoy!
