Franklin Photography – Gary & Caroline “After Session”

You may remember Gary & Caroline from this past May.  They are officially now named our “flood” couple.  We decided on their wedding day that they had to have a “day after” session.  The torrential downpours we had the weekend of their wedding wasn’t exactly the best for beautiful outdoor shots;) We’re so glad we were able to shoot them all around downtown Franklin & then to Carnton Plantation where their wedding was originally suppose to take place.  This is yet another example why these “after sessions” are so great.  Now Gary & Caroline have beautiful images to reflect this special time in their lives.  Enjoy a few of our favorites!

Check out this amazing house! Caroline’s parents live right in the heart of historic Franklin, TN and their house is amazing! The kitchen looked like something from Julia Child’s house!

We wrapped up the session at 55 South in Franklin with some beers and food. You get really great service when you are wearing a wedding dress and suit!

5 Years Ago Today…

…we were getting married!  I can’t believe it’s already been 5 years.  So much has happened since then which makes the images from our wedding much more precious.  We have lost loved ones, friends have moved away but we have these images to capture that special time in our lives.  We can’t thank Alison Bynum with Bynum Photography enough for giving them to us.

Phil, I LOVE you!!  I can’t wait for 50 more years!

Nashville Wedding Vendors We Love – Brocade Design Arts

We absolutely love working with Hillary with Brocade Design Arts.  We always know that if we are photographing a wedding and Hillary is doing the floral design, it’s going to be incredible.  We were excited to visit her fun shop right in the heart of the Arcade in downtown Nashville.  If you are a bride and are wanting your flowers to be anywhere from classy to fun & whimsical, Hillary is your girl.  Enjoy some images from her shop and you can view more of her beautiful work by visiting Ashley & Trey and Tami & Brent’s beautiful weddings from this year.  Enjoy!

Nashville Baby Photography – Sophia

We enjoy photographing families & babies, especially in the midst of wedding season.  It’s an awesome change of pace and we couldn’t ask for a cuter baby than Sophia.  She’s gonna be a heart breaker…prettiest blue eyes I have ever seen!  Enjoy:)
