**UPDATE** Due to the weather over the weekend, CJ’s open house has been postponed until Thursday, May 13th!

CJ’s Off the Square is having a Spring open house May 6th from 5-7pm. If you have already chosen CJ’s as your wedding venue or have been thinking about checking them out, definitely stop by. Nashville Wildhorse Saloon Private Party – Olhausen Billiards

Last weekend Phil and I photographed a private birthday party for the owner of Olhausen Billiards, Donny Olhausen. Olhausen makes beautiful pool tables, some of which fill the entire 3rd floor of the Wildhorse Saloon where the party was held. Here are a couple fun images from the night…enjoy!

A couple of weeks ago, Phil and I photographed a cool little dude, Mason. He just turned 9 months old and is one happy baby, which makes our job easy! Until Phil and I have our own little guy, we will go ahead and give the award for cutest baby ever to him

Nashville Engagement Session – Ken & Lindsey (cont.)

As we promised here are some more images from our engagement session with Ken & Lindsey We shot some around downtown and also had access to a really cool condo at sunset! These guys definitely wanted to include a little “Nashville” in their engagement session since they are getting married in New Orleans this weekend! We are getting ready to pack up and head that way tomorrow to shoot their wedding and then a fun “day after” session with them in the French Quarter. We are like two kids before Disneyworld right now. For now, enjoy these images and we promise there is much more to come of these two after this weekend!

Vendors We Love!

Well, even though it is almost Thanksgiving and we are somewhat winding down for the holiday season, we are staying busy meeting with fun new vendors. We will be spotlighting a few vendors over the next month and wanted to kick it off with wedding coordinator extraordinaire, Kristin Carolan of Simply Stunning Events. We are super excited to be working with Kristen on Jessica & T.J.’s wedding next year. It’s always great to work with an excellent coordinator. They make the wedding day go so much smoother, not to mention all the stress they alleviate before the wedding. Happy Halloween (a little late)

Ok, so this blog post is about 5 days late, but we thought we’d share a photo of our attempt to get dressed up for Halloween. That’s Phil dressed up as a mummy and me trying to look tough like Sydney Bristow from Alias. If anyone ever needs professional mummy makeup, you can contact me. I am now an expert on applying latex & toilet paper.

Ashlee’s Sweet 16

A couple of weekends ago, Phil and I got to shoot Ashlee’s Sweet 16, held at the beautiful Richland Country Club. It was so much fun and a nice change of pace for us. It was fun living vicariously through these teenagers for a night. We hope Ashlee had a great birthday and a huge thanks to her parents for letting us be apart of it. There was nothing spared for this party…awesome decorations…Phil and I loved this huge 16 outside the country club made of balloons.

We grabbed a quick family picture before the party started. The Moon family was great. Everyone seemed to have such a good time. Even Grandmom hit the dance floor!

We had the idea to setup a photo booth for the party and Mrs. Moon got the coolest backdrop for it. These pictures turned out so cute.
