We were so honored to take part in Hope, Faith & Photos for a Cure a couple weeks ago. Hundreds showed up in support and we had an amazing turnout. Huge thanks to Carla Lynn, who organized the entire thing! Since the event, we’ve received news that Ashley had her latest scan and she is officially in remission…we will all continue to pray that her scans remain clear!
Enjoy a few behind the scenes images from the day. We were lucky enough to have great photographers/videographers documenting us looking goofy behind the camera.![]()

Last weekend Phil and I photographed a private birthday party for the owner of Olhausen Billiards, Donny Olhausen. Olhausen makes beautiful pool tables, some of which fill the entire 3rd floor of the Wildhorse Saloon where the party was held. Here are a couple fun images from the night…enjoy!

Great shot of Donny proudly standing next to his pool tables & another shot of the “surprise!” moment.

A couple of weeks ago, Phil and I photographed a cool little dude, Mason. He just turned 9 months old and is one happy baby, which makes our job easy! Until Phil and I have our own little guy, we will go ahead and give the award for cutest baby ever to him![]()

Mason enjoying his first cookie ever. This is at the beginning when he is still clean…we will just tell you he thoroughly enjoyed it ![]()

This is one of the very few images we have of Mason not smiling, but his expression is priceless!

As we promised here are some more images from our engagement session with Ken & Lindsey
We shot some around downtown and also had access to a really cool condo at sunset! These guys definitely wanted to include a little “Nashville” in their engagement session since they are getting married in New Orleans this weekend! We are getting ready to pack up and head that way tomorrow to shoot their wedding and then a fun “day after” session with them in the French Quarter. We are like two kids before Disneyworld right now. For now, enjoy these images and we promise there is much more to come of these two after this weekend!

Ok, so it was a goal of ours to feature wedding vendors more often, but better late than never, right? We wanted to spotlight one of the coolest wedding venues in town, CJ’s Off The Square. It’s located right in the heart of downtown Franklin, off the square…hence the name. Not only is it a fantastic venue, but it is operated by some of the raddest girls I’ve met in a long time, CJ & Amy (who are also of the Williamson County Weddings & Events fame) I mean who else can you sit and talk about your love for Patty Griffin and T.I. Anyways, if you are still in the middle of your search for the perfect venue for your wedding, Phil and I highly suggest checking this place out. Right now they are running some crazy deals for spring/summer dates. Below is the 411 and their contact info.

Save 1000 dollars on your wedding venue!
CJ’s Off the Square is having a HUGE sale on all remaining 2009 spring/summer wedding dates! Don’t wait to give them a call – these are going to book up fast!

Save $1000 off the facility fee for any available Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Fridays and Sundays are now $1500 and Saturdays are $2250. This is for a limited time only. Offer applies to wedding rates only and is valid on wedding dates through August 31, 2009.
See other Nashville wedding vendors we love!

Ok, so this blog post is about 5 days late, but we thought we’d share a photo of our attempt to get dressed up for Halloween. That’s Phil dressed up as a mummy and me trying to look tough like Sydney Bristow from Alias. If anyone ever needs professional mummy makeup, you can contact me. I am now an expert on applying latex & toilet paper.

A couple of weekends ago, Phil and I got to shoot Ashlee’s Sweet 16, held at the beautiful Richland Country Club. It was so much fun and a nice change of pace for us. It was fun living vicariously through these teenagers for a night. We hope Ashlee had a great birthday and a huge thanks to her parents for letting us be apart of it. Click here if you would like to view and order pictures!
There was nothing spared for this party…awesome decorations…Phil and I loved this huge 16 outside the country club made of balloons.

Ashlee’s name in lights on the dance floor.

We grabbed a quick family picture before the party started. The Moon family was great. Everyone seemed to have such a good time. Even Grandmom hit the dance floor!

We had the idea to setup a photo booth for the party and Mrs. Moon got the coolest backdrop for it. These pictures turned out so cute.

Cute one of some of Ashlee’s friends at the party.

Nashville Party Authority, the DJ, was great and kept everyone dancing.
