Cabo San Lucas Day After Session – Erin & Doug

You might remember seeing Erin & Doug’s Cabo San Lucas Destination Wedding a few days ago. Well, the day after that beautiful wedding, Erin & Doug wanted an extra special sunrise session and we were more than happy to accommodate. We were thrilled in fact! Everyone was tired the next morning but managed to avoid oversleeping, even with the crazy time change that occurred that day. :) It was definitely worth the effort! We had a great time and captured some beautiful sunrise shots on the amazing Cabo San Lucas coast.

As if including us in their amazing wedding in Mexico wasn’t enough, Erin & Doug brought the coolest surprise to their image premiere the other day! Everyone knows Mindy is a BIG FAN of anything chocolate and this super sweet (pun intended) gift was so thoughtful and fun. Thank you so much Erin & Doug (Dorin? Erug?)! You guys are great!

Nashville Photography – Neal & Holly “Anytime” Session

We’ve known Holly for a few years (we are very loyal clients…she does our hair!) and we were so excited last year when she & Neal got engaged. Neal & Holly decided to have an intimate & private wedding. Ever since then we have been planning an “After Session” with them. On the day of the shoot, they opted out of getting back into their wedding attire and chose just to have a fun & casual shoot around Germantown. These two are stunning and we love how they turned out. Enjoy a few of our favorites

Franklin Photography – Gary & Caroline “After Session”

You may remember Gary & Caroline from this past May. They are officially now named our “flood” couple. We decided on their wedding day that they had to have a “day after” session. The torrential downpours we had the weekend of their wedding wasn’t exactly the best for beautiful outdoor shots We’re so glad we were able to shoot them all around downtown Franklin & then to Carnton Plantation where their wedding was originally suppose to take place. This is yet another example why these “after sessions” are so great. Now Gary & Caroline have beautiful images to reflect this special time in their lives. Enjoy a few of our favorites!

Check out this amazing house! Caroline’s parents live right in the heart of historic Franklin, TN and their house is amazing! The kitchen looked like something from Julia Child’s house!

We wrapped up the session at 55 South in Franklin with some beers and food. You get really great service when you are wearing a wedding dress and suit!

Nashville Day After Session – Chandra & Matt

So, as you all know by now, we LOVE day after sessions. We won’t go into why we love them again, but hopefully when you see the images below, you’ll see why This is our grand finale for Matt & Chandra! We spent an entire afternoon with these two, going all over the place, including the lovely Cedarwood where they were married. It was a blast. Enjoy a few of our favorites!

Casey & Laura – Tupelo, MS Day After Session

Guess what? It is 2010! How strange is that? Sounds so futuristic. We are very pleased to be able to usher in the new year with some photos from our awesome Tupelo creative couple – Casey & Laura. We posted the wedding photographs a couple weeks ago and we’ve been dying to get these up as well.

Sometimes on the day of the wedding certain factors (such as rain) can limit your options when it comes to wedding photos. That is why we LOVE day-after sessions. They don’t actually have to be the very next day of course. Some couples schedule these sessions weeks after the wedding day. Day-after sessions are really great for removing the location and time constraints of a busy wedding day and allows the couple to really get some creative shots in their wedding attire. These sessions are becoming more and more popular with our couples and we are loving it! So, enjoy a few shots from Casey & Laura’s session and let us know what you think in the comments below.
