Last month we had the awesome opportunity to fly up to D.C. to photograph Jessica’s bridal session. She & Jon were married this past Saturday in a beautiful ceremony in Virginia (sneak peek to come soon!)…needless to say we are excited to finally be able to share these images with everyone! You would have seen Mindy and me wrapped up in several layers of clothing freezing our tails off! Ashley, however, didn’t even let the cold phase her. Two beautiful brides in one week…we are some lucky photogs! We are thrilled to show you a sneak peek of Chandra’s bridal session. We had so much fun going around to a few different locations with her. She opted to have her bridal session after her wedding, which we think is pretty smart. You’re not as worried about sitting in your dress, leaning against a wall, etc. when you have already been through your wedding day. Last month we had the chance to shoot at a place we have been dying to shoot at…the Schermerhorn! We were so excited when Marie said she wanted to have her bridal portraits made there. If you have ever been inside this magical place (I swear I hear Ariel, the little mermaid, singing her little “ahhh, ahhh, ahhhhhh” song when I enter), you know how awesome it is. Anyways, here it is a month later and we can finally share these with you because Brian & Marie were married today! Enjoy
We are so excited to finally be able to share Amanda’s Bridal Portraits. Of course we had to keep these under-wraps until Amanda & Stephen were married this past Saturday (sneak peek coming soon!), but now here they are! We had so much fun with Amanda…not only does she have the best style of anyone I have ever met, but she was able to spend as much time as we wanted shooting at Cheekwood. We spent about three hours and were there until after dark. As you can see, Phil and I couldn’t seem to narrow down our picks for the blog, so we decided to blog all of our favorites. Enjoy!
Love, love, love Amanda’s flowers. I’d usually insert a link to the wonderful florist who did them, but in this case it was Amanda herself. Yep you read that right. She did all the flowers for her wedding. Incredible.

A couple of weeks ago we visited Laura in her hometown of Waverly,TN for her bridal portraits. We started at her grandmother’s house and grabbed a few shots in front of an old oak tree she played under as a child. Then we moved over to a really cool old shed her grandfather built. Once finished at the house we headed down to the Humphreys County Museum & Civil War Fort . This place was full of interesting Civil War antiques and was very cool (you’ll see more when we post their wedding shots.) Laura, as you can see has a knock out smile and such a great personality to go along with it! We had a lot of fun snapping the photos and swatting at mosquitoes!
